“The Sting of The Whip”

“The Sting of The Whip” makes every effort to seek the source of truth.” The Sting of the Whip” literally references the brutal physical lashing and tearing of human flesh, the lynching, shackling, shooting unarmed Black people in church, bombing of children in church and other extreme levels of continued vile deeds. “The Sting of the Whip” references poor and inadequate housing, education, healthcare and a myriad of psychological violations against Black people.

The present is my future and for over three quarters of a century, I have seen my future, and it is worse than my past. Nothing has changed, lying is lying, stealing is stealing, killing is killing, cheating is cheating, racism is racism, oppression is oppression and exploitation is exploitation. The only thing that has changed is the ferocious frequency and intensity of such behavior. Times change, people don’t!

I am constantly confronted with the never-ending struggle for human puissance. To take one’s personal power is a form of moral and spiritual rape. I accept and acknowledge the fact of my African ‘self-being’ intuitively, and have developed the cognitive strength to function as Black Man in America. I am not interested in meeting people at the intersection of race where I must consider everyone’s issues along with mine or sometimes before mine. I reject the term “person of color”. If I consider myself a ‘person of color’ I must mitigate or even abandon my intellectual, genetic and spiritual authentic essence of sovereignty. A thing mixed is a thing weakened, to hide the impurities but they are there. With each delusion, the spirit slips away, until nothing authentic is left.

I show my humanity in my character. Human rights are of paramount consideration to me. It is about establishing human relationships predicated on mutual respect, understanding, acceptance and appreciation for others. The essence of character is in the ability to balance one’s obligations to maintain one’s integrity. The supreme test is to bear some burden in a noble manner out of a sense of devotion. The bearer of the burden receives no special benefit save the baptism of his soul and an inordinate investment in his interdependence and freedom.

I have recently completed an energetic existence of 82 years. I have peace, love and a spiritual thirst for life. My reason for being is to actively investigate experiences which surround me, and to put a bit of order to apparent confusion. This includes an in depth investigation of my life. I test, study, and observe my attitudes and outlook on life.   My thoughts, speech, and actions are weighed and measured. My actions must coincide with my belief and faith. I must demonstrate moral direction, cultural and political intelligence in order to serve all human beings. By learning to think, one develops dignity in one’s nature. The more thoughtful one becomes, naturally, the more dignified one becomes because dignity springs from thoughtfulness. “I do not speak falsely for I am great; I do not act lightly for I have weight; I am not untrue for I am the balance; I do not swerve for I am the standard.” Husia

In some of my readings, I found this quote, “It is therefore, in the yearning for knowledge of self the fulfillment of life is revealed. The knowledge of self means the knowledge of one’s body, the knowledge of one’s mind, the knowledge of one’s spirit; the knowledge of the spirit’s relation to the body and the relation of the body to the spirit; the knowledge of one’s wants and needs, the knowledge of one’s virtues and faults; knowing what we desire and how to attain it, what is to be pursued and what is to be renounced. It is this knowledge which gives one insight into all human nature”. Conditions, situations and circumstances may be shared by many. However, an individual’s natural rhythm manifests their conscious purpose in life. The behavior appropriate for such fulfillment rests solely with the individual. No principle must be blindly followed.

If you take all the Blackness out of Black you leave nothing to substantiate my identity. Consciousness must constantly resist the dominating ethos. Once Black consciousness is abandoned, I cannot protect myself and find it impossible to press any claim on behalf of Black people with no might or power in hand. The more profound question is what is my need to be other than a Black man? Are pluralism, diversity, gentrification, solidarity and integration the most meaningful and desirable living experiences for Black people? What is the existential nature of these terms?

These concepts and theories only have meaning in highly developed humanistic and spiritual environments. In Western societies they have little meaning and are mostly symbolic. In Western Society Black lives do not matter. I repeat Black lives do not matter! There are special perspectives relating to the issues that confront the Black community.   Religion, class, money, power, prestige and politics can also have a profound effect on how Black people perceive their roles in society. So you see the quid pro quo is constantly operative and suspect in black-white relationships. There are misguided Black defenders of white supremacy. “If you do not understand White Supremacy (Racism) what it is, and how it works, everything else that you understand, will only confuse you.” (1) The United Independent Compensatory Code/System/Concept. Neely Fuller, Jr. pg. A.

Racial orientation in the Euro-Ethotic experience is a powerful and pervasive form of conditioning and supports the power dynamic. Those in power establish the icons, ideas and concepts of all who function within the sphere of their control. Imperium In Imperio (a power within a power). There is no power where power is equal. Individuals are indoctrinated to the invisible pressure of the power dynamic. There is a strong unconscious adherence to the power dynamic. To believe in the inherent authority of systems and institutions is to embrace the power dynamic. Power can be only discerned based on relationships. One can retain his/her racial integrity and personal sovereignty while functioning in a racist society. Hopefully one will read this treatise and make an effort to effectuate a Black psyche shield to fortify oneself from the indoctrination of self-hate and lack respect of self. If we relax our vigilance we will be disarmed. Repeated concessions turn into submission and voluntary cooperation. Such passive submission leads one to believe that if you can’t beat your enemy you must join him. Black people must always be cognitive of who and where they are.

Blacks in the Euro-Ethotic environment will carry the same cultural assumptions as Europeans. They will make choices completely encompassed within the European cultural assumptions supported by all of the institutions, despite that they might not be in their best interests. We must always be aware of our primary impulses and explore their origins before acting. The primary impulse response or the primary cognitive response which leads to make one choice over another is imperative for thought and action. The primary impulse response must be based on the question ‘Is it good for Black people’?

The level of negative energy directed toward anyone who attempts to resist or challenge racism or white supremacy is most vehemently attacked by some Blacks. Some Blacks are accustomed to submission and are acclimated to the comfortable seduction of inadequacy. The pathologies are so nuanced and insidious that many members of the Black community fail to recognize them; the lack of impulse control, lack of mutual-respect, lack of preparation, lack of truthfulness, lack of honesty, lack of courage, lack of respect for self, lack of responsibility, lack of accountability, lack of discipline, lack of love, embracing fear, guilt, and shame. Self-esteem has an inherent validity of its own. Self-neglect is self-abuse; no one neglect anything good unless it is for something they think is better.

Personal identity or racial identity is determined by the levels of consciousness and internalization. The most significant issue is that one must accept the reality that they are what they are. Personal sovereignty is the primary characteristic of self- identification for individual power. Maximum self-esteem is the acceptance of having infinite worth and dignity. Racial integrity is the lineage and pedigree that is accepted as the integral and incorruptible identity of an individual’s humanity. It is consciousness of kind. “The theory would, of necessity, also call forth and inform a practice which was both oppositional and affirmative, opposing European domination in all forms internally and externally, and affirming the best of Black thought and practice as a necessary and important way of human beings in the world” (2) “Kawaida”, Maulana Karenga, Ph.D, p. 9.

In thinking about these issues, I developed a theory I call Zero Grade Reliance (ZGR). Grade Reliance makes up a confidence index which Black people could use to assess and evaluate their experiences in America. The reliance on ideas like adoration, adulation and fear are essential to the conditioning of Blacks for the maintenance of the European ethos or what I call the Euro-ethotic environment. Adoration, adulation, and fear are powerful influences impacting the behavior of Black people in America. Individually or collectively, the manner in which Black people behave in America is often the result of one or all these symptoms. Many Blacks have a higher reverence for the Euro-ethotic belief system than for themselves or other Black people. Many Blacks are in a mindset of servile flattery or fear of white power. The degree or weight on which we accept an idea, concept, assumption, or situation is based on our internalized values. The intensity of the response to said paradigms constitutes RELIANCE.

The ability to meaningfully engage and sustain ZGR in contextual relationships and reconcile native propensities allows us to master the attitudes necessary for the internalized healthy development of the Black psyche. Without an internalized healthy Black psyche, all behavior in the Euro-Ethotic environment receives its impetus from the European conventionality; established ideas or customs and fostering minimum grade reliance by absorbing said conventionality. The ability to transcend that conventionality, ideas and customs are fundamental to the healthy development for the Black psyche. “Emotional dispositions, various tendencies toward taking interests in various ways, are organized about the idea of the self to produce the self- regarding sentiment. This self -regarding sentiment subordinate to itself the other sentiments, concrete and abstract, that have been gradually developed with it, and so introduces discipline and a hierarchy of government which is most effective in bringing about harmonious activity, producing an individual adequately adapted to his environment. Whatever occurs in the mind is relevant. The mind is never passive. A man acts freely so far as he is true to himself and so far as he is acting in accordance with the principles developed in his individual life and according to his own personality.” (3) “Mind and Personality” p.81 William Brown

ZERO GRADE RELIANCE functions as the major organizing force to free or liberate Blacks from previous conditioning. ZERO GRADE RELIANCE is depicted as the organizing trigger for establishing the praxis of conversion, freeing Blacks from insensitive events, situations and or circumstances. ZERO GRADE RELIANCE is capable of regulating a wide range of interactions and establishes a process primarily through the effective control of diverse condition change. The internalization of personal sovereignty and racial integrity will provide the fulcrum for that theory in use. The intrinsic identity will establish ZERO GRADE RELIANCE on the Euro-Ethotic experience, thereby determining the responses. Otherwise, external objects become more important than the self.

If Black people ever want to really break the mental shackles of systemic European enslavement they would first have to understand their spiritual, cultural and genetic identity and then be prepared to promote and defend it. This is where Zero Grade Reliance provides a helpful tool. In order to survive in this condition, we must adjust our language, values, thinking, and the way we view the world.

It is of paramount importance that I start with the knowing, voluntary and intentional will of the founders of this country as it was being developed in what I call the first cause dynamic. This nation was conceived and created in racism and genocide, a harsh reality, yet a truthful reality. At the beginning of this country, after having won their freedom, the colonies as imperialists were true to the imprimatur Manifest Destiny. Imperial, behavior by its very nature is predicated upon intrinsic and diabolical expressions of violence and terror.

WE THE PEOPLE

“We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Article 1, section 2 of The Constitution of the United States did not protect Native Americans or Blacks. I have long heard the comment that Negroes were called 3/5ths of a human being in the United States Constitution and that has never been repealed. This created the perception that Blacks were given some humanity, though less than white people. Actually, it is worse than that. Black people were not given any humanity by the Constitution at all. Zero!

They were not citizens even though many were born in America and were not allowed to vote. What the 3/5ths clause in the Constitution was really about was a compromise struck between Northern white men who wanted to decrease the power and influence of the slave owning southern white men. At the time when congressional districts were first being apportioned, southern slave owning white men wanted to count all of their slaves for purposes of gaining more seats in Congress, and for that purpose only. In order to reduce their power and influence, Northern white men agreed that the slaves could be counted as 3/5 of a person for purposes of representation. Therefore, southern slave holders got less representation then they were attempting to get. Northern white men were not advocating that black people be considered citizens at that time, or that they receive any other privileges afforded white men at that time. So, in point of fact, the Constitution did not consider Black people as having any rights, power or privilege.

Birth and domicile alone cannot confer citizenship. To establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, promote the general welfare, secure the blessings of liberty are all excellent ideas. The ill-conceived approach for civil rights (inalienable) and not human rights (unalienable) is the root cause of the racial dilemma in the United States of America. The 9th amendment, 13th amendment; President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation (which was designed primarily to preserve the Union), the 14th amendment, 15th amendment, Executive Order #18802 which in 1940 established fair employment, the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act and Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream are sincere and honest attempts to make this country better.Blessing and honor should be given to these efforts.

The most potent word and conceptual utterance in The Preamble of the United States is “our”! Subliminal consideration of “our” must be given. In all the linguistic expressions words, thoughts and actions make the holy trinity. A over B relationships promote and affirm attitudes of one person or group which deny, freedom, justice, equality and dignity of another person or group. The same can be true of ideas, beliefs and concepts. The obvious A over B relationships are male over female, rich over poor, white over black, one religion over another religion, straight over gay or any other invidious comparison. The consequence of such acknowledgements, create “The Other”. This is a core principle which lacks the recognition of one’s humanity and was the initial inclination of the United States of America. “A people losing sight of origins, are dead. A people deaf of purpose are lost …  Around us they have placed a plethora of thing screaming denial of our nature, things welcoming us against ourselves, things luring us into whiteness of destruction. We too have drunk oblivion, and overflowing with it, have joined the exhilarated chase after death. This is life’s race, but how shall we remain a people hypnotized by death?” (4) “Two Thousand Seasons” Prologue ix ,x Ayi Kwi Armah

How free are Black people in the United States? Freedom is just a matter of opinion. Freedom is an individual affair. It is totally subjective. There can be no free will, without free action. There is no freedom without responsibility. Freedom is accomplished by the responsibility of free action. What a strategy to have intellectual discourse about the enslaved experience and how they faired, rather than the dynamic principle of first cause, slavery, its symptom and the results of the slave experience.

I agree with Maulana Karenga when he says Black is color, Black is culture and Black is consciousness! Being Black is more than just the aspect of our color. For example, potential political candidates may be Black, but because of their politics will often fail to express a Black consciousness. Some social activists may be Black, but go out of their way to affirm the opinions that white people have of Black people. Newscasters on cable TV shows may be Black, but because of money or class differences, take positions contrary to the goals and aspirations of many Black people. Some Black athletes and entertainers protect their image and ‘market share’ at all costs when issues of race surface. There are special perspectives relating to the issues that confront the Black community.

Aren’t we thru dreaming yet? Dreams come from unfulfilled imagination and when we can imagine how wonderful things can be, we get lost in the world of wishful thinking. Your dreams of free will, freedom and sovereignty can be misunderstandings of the causes which created the dream. Is the dream of post-racial progress more illusion than reality?Did the needle really move?

FEIGN the pretense of problem solving, whereby a system excels in creating the image of movement without moving; the parallax phenomena, where the change in the position of an object, resulting from the change in direction or position from which the object is viewed. Savoring, ‘racial progress’ has become an anachronism; “being” is less important than “becoming”. If the needle really did move, it was the result of struggle and resistance and not the intentional and voluntary will of racists. There is a great deal of self- congratulation in this country every time the racial needle is slightly moved.

The racial drama of Americana (US) public policies of employment, education, housing, healthcare, drug and the court system has established an environment (GHETTO) of oppression, suppression and devastation. Those public policies purged and extracted the light and life out of the once vibrant Black community. Family uniformity and equilibrium was fractured and undermined the spiritual essence of what is to be Black and contributed to the destruction of the deep spiritual reverence for Black self-pride.

The primary psychological dynamic of human behavior for the Western mind has been demonstrated as psychopathic, especially when race is factored in. There is a psychopathic imperative inherit in the character of racism. Racism is the theory whereby white people most easily coalesce. It is the most common invalidating characteristic more so than religion, nationality, ethnicity, class, age and gender. It is “white nationalism”. Racism will rear its ugly head in all of the mentioned venues. This hegemony or what I called the Euro- intellectual orientation of Western thought is diabolical and brutal in matters of race. The collective psychopathic mind of Western thoughts on exclusion, expressions of intolerance, indulgence and ultimately indemnification are historical. I would suggest that Black people see the truth of the situation they are in. The world-view in which they seek to undo the mistakes that were made, is the same worldview from which the mistakes were made. They continue to deny reality of the world they live in. “The notion that one race is superior to any other race is at the core of racism. Prejudice and inherent exaggerations of racial differences is what gives racism its essence. Practice of racial discrimination, segregation, persecution, demonization, dehumanization based on color or race is racism. The paradigm and belief, the practice and behavior; profit and benefit joining ultimately to power of invalidation and denial of human value when worth is based on the theory or doctrine of race and is unscientific, immoral and inaccurate. Racism is not a natural phenomenon. It is artificial and arbitrary.” (5) “Hebkhu Nehti, “The Grateful Slave”.

One cannot possibly prescribe a course of action to cover the infinite contingencies that may arise in an unpredictable, experience of life. The causes which motivate human behavior are complex and hardly ever explained in terms of single process. In order to understand the nature of any event, it is necessary to discover and to relate all the possible conditions entering into its production. When distortion and myth are incorporated into the analytical framework there are always other possible explanations for the same event.

Anne Schaef Wilson describes four powerful myths about the white male system. Ms. Schaef Wilson believes that these myths create the reflective female system, where it is a sin to be born a woman. The undeniable thrusts of Ms. Schaef Wilson’s book outline for me that there is a reflective Black system where the original sin is to be born Black. Ms. Schaef Wilson acknowledges that the reflective female system is the companion system of the white male system. The White male system invalidates women. The same White male system invalidates Black people. It is the companion of the reflective female system equally impacting Black women. Black people view themselves in the same manner that women view themselves juxtaposed to the White male system. “White male system: 1. the system is the only thing that exists, 2. it is innately superior to other systems, 3.It knows and understands everything and 4. It is possible to be totally logical, rational and objective.” (6)”When Society Becomes an Addict” p. 8 Anne Wilson Schaef56f23fc2b7d21d7bbdbc65e8a778a4f2

The Stockholm Syndrome is a psychological phenomenon which occurs to people held hostage where they identify and bond with the individuals who enslaved them. The methodology of deceit and hypocrisy is an integral part of the Stockholm Syndrome. Those captured develop a strong emotional identity with the oppressor. The oppressed person is invalidated, insulted or threatened which damages their individual self-esteem.    The ability of that person to function voluntarily may be suppressed or suspended and such suppression or suspension causes severe trauma. It is highly likely that one would respond with self- defeating non-strategic behavior. A great deal of Black behavior is predictable after the subjugation of evil, harsh and cruel treatment of slavery. We may still be in bondage because the mind and spirit may still not be free. After several centuries of enslavement why would Blacks not suffer from the same psychological characteristics of the Stockholm Syndrome? Dr. Joy DeGruy Leary developed a similar theory in her book entitled “Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome”.

The Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome is a diagnosis, which gives greater insight into the ‘Stockholm Syndrome’. The Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome has had a devastating impact on Black people. In order to break away from any particular behavior, you must first break or alter the thought mechanism from which that behavior extends. The psychological traits of cultural inferiority and the subsequent social submission is the by-product of enslavement and global racism. Our collective psychosis remains the most difficult area of our struggle. Dr. Leary is actually providing a prescription for healing. There is a systematic method of precisely defining racial consciousness.

Thus, Zero Grade Reliance (ZGR) negates entirely, the values of the Euro-Ethotic experience for Black people. Self- assertiveness and putting oneself forward, is maximum Grade Reliance. Zero Grade Reliance is a necessary strategy for our people in order to move away from the Euro-Ethotic experience and its negative effects.weoz24awjfxbw5vzyadp

Blacks share the same cultural orientation, the same view of history, the same view of science etc…We are susceptible to the acrimony, enmity and hate of the cultural assumptions of the Euro-Ethotic experiences and we are relying upon the forces which aid in our own destruction. ZERO GRADE RELIANCE means resistance to a way that negates our personal sovereignty and racial integrity. ZERO GRADE RELIANCE means rejection and even contempt for the forces which participate in the destruction of Black people. ZERO GRADE RELIANCE as applied to the Euro-Ethotic experience requires constant application, for racism and white supremacy are pervasive and relentless.

The psycho-dynamics of racism recognize no less than four primary predicates; ontology, axiology, epistemology and logic; each being natural, necessary and paramount to any understanding. Racism viewed through those cultural schemes gives unique insight into its effectiveness. “To begin with, within the setting of our enslavement, the ideology of white supremacy was systematically reinforced by set of interlocking mechanisms and patterns which functioned to deny the validity of African humanity. This system of African oppression and denial was buttressed by a materialistic, aggressive worldview. …     European ideology dictated that Europeans create inferior objects that their self-concepts could function positively within the context of their value system. Functioning positively meant relating as superiors to inferior beings. If they could not make themselves feel superior they were nothing, defeated in terms of their own ethos and worldview in which pleasure was derived only from power and control.” (7) “The Implication of African-American Spiritualty” p.215. Dona Marimba Richards. Ph.D.

Reason and logic by their very nature are restricted to evidence. Opinion and beliefhaveno such limitations and are not objective or neutral. So seductive is the code of “Cultural Fantasy” that it has proven itself immune to reality. The code of “Cultural Fantasy” is the literal acceptance of mythology, fallacies, fictions, allegorical non-truths and agreed upon lies. It reduces, minimizes, and marginalizes certain beliefs, rendering them absurd and makes obvious considerations even obscene. “The process of decoding a power system and its culture is a necessary first step to achieve behavioral mastery over that system/ culture. The attainment of such mastery is an essential step in the process of total liberation for the victim who wishes to end that oppression and regain their self- respect and mental health. Without this process of decoding, the oppressed fail to fully understand what they are dealing with; they have minimal level of consciousness and self/group-respect, and they are, functionally speaking, mentally ill.”maxresdefault

“Submission to and cooperation with victimization and oppression are signs of individual or group mental illness or self- negation. Once the victims of oppression accurately and completely decode the system and its objective of oppression and once they fully analyze the symbols and patterns of logic, thought, speech, action, emotional response and response and perception (consciously or unconsciously determine) that constitute the system, the oppressed will be able to recognize their own behavior effectively. This reorganization will result in self/ group-respect and support, and thereby end their oppression.” (8) Dr. Frances Cress Welsing “The Isis Papers” ps. 53, 54.

Bobby E. Wright’s premise of the psychopathic racial personality of the European and those of Western thought provide another layer of why the struggle must continue. Why was the term Niggereven constructed? There was a need for a feeling of superiority. Therefore the use of a demeaning and demoralizing term was necessary. “A psychopath is an individual who is constantly in conflict with other persons or groups. They are unable to experience guilt, completely selfish and callous and have total disregard for the rights of others.” … There is an insatiable morbid appetite of Western thought and Europeans to dominate other.”(9) “The Psychopathic Racial Personality”, Bobby Wright, Ph.D. pg.1

A man with a sense of justice always put himself in the same position of the man he is trying to judge. Dr. Martin Luther King defined the hardhearted person as follows. ”The Hardhearted person never truly loves. He engages in a crass utilitarianism which values over people, mainly according to their usefulness to him. He never experiences the beauty of friendship, because he is too cold to feel affection and for another and is too self-centered to share another’s joy and sorrow. He is an isolated island. No outpouring of love with the mainland of humanity. The hardhearted person lacks the capacity for genuine compassion. He is unmoved by the pains and afflictions of his brothers. (11) “Strength to Love”, pg.5 Martin King Ph.D,

Human behavior identifies two archetypes: the violators of human dignity and worth and the violated. Each carries on his/her own soul of the reflective stamp on the other. The social psychic dynamics of the archetypes are incompatible. We function as violated human beings or as the validated human beings. We become either agents in the process of racism or we function as objects. As objects we remain voiceless — being defined and critiqued by those who are not the custodians of truth but who represent the poverty of lies.

The enslaved and master cannot pray and worship the same GOD! No one’s faith will be higher than their understanding of their God. Their faith in God is measured by their faith and confidence in themselves. Each must claim for themselves the highest ideal. Worship is the highest form of self-expression. God is love. If God is love, love is most sacred and to utter this word without meaning is a vain act. Love is a relation in itself; no study is necessary, no meditation is needed, no piety is required. Love is pure. To the one who knows what it means, love means patience, love means endurance, love means tolerance, love means sacrifice, love means service. All things such as gentleness, humility, modesty, graciousness, kindness, all are different manifestations of Love and of God.

The following individuals have diagnosed, described and explained Western thought having characteristics of behavioral violence endemic of their culture. Prof. Ashley Montague pontificated on race as well as Plato, Aristotle, St. Thomas Aquinas, Augustine, and many others. If one were to embrace the theory of single soul, pseudo-self-esteem, self-created, impure, incomplete, deficient- personalities, it would identify the behavioral paradigm of such behavioral violence. Sigmund Freud identified the violence as sexual aggression and destruction; Adler identified it as the need for power and control; Jung identified it as the need for collective consciousness. BF Skinner hypothesized that appropriate controller and technological behavior are necessary to alter the nature of impulse control for violent behavior. Michael Bradley further elaborated on Sigmund Freud as repression/aggressive sexuality and used the term ‘dimorphism’ representing extreme aggressiveness. “The modern conception of race owes its widespread diffusion to the white man. Wherever he has gone, he has carried it with him. The white man has been preoccupied with differences among people, has invented certain conceptions to explain and create these differences or to explain them away and have taken pains to defuse these conceptions as gospel. It results from evolutionary and cultural experience: our predisposition for aggression is genetic only in the sense that environment and culture have tended to select aggression and preserve individuals exhibiting it. (12) “The Iceman Inheritance” Pg. I2-33 Michael Bradley.

Dr. Marimba Ani presents the seminal work on the psychopathic personality in her book, “YURUGU” “A being in Dogon Mythology which is responsible for disorder in the universe. This is a being conceived in denial of the natural order, which then acts to initiate and promote disharmony in the universe. In Africa Cosmology such a being is deficient in spiritual sensibility and is perpetually in conflict, is limited cognitively, and is threatening the well- being of humanity a uniquely aggressive response to others violates the universal principles of complementarity.” (13) “Yurugu”, Marimba Ani, PhD. p. xxviii.

As a result of persistent attacks, we must understand the essential characteristics of the assumptions of Americana. The ritual drama of Americana is fundamentally racist, any position counter to that is a distortion or denial of reality. If any fabric of society is immune or excluded from racism, I have failed to see such evidence. Res Ipsa loquitur {the thing speaks for itself]. Liberation for Black people is vastly different than achieving the ‘American Dream’. This society seduces, entices, and coerces the attitudes and behavior of Blacks, women, gays, transgendered, and the poor. They are treated as non-entities. This social drama is then played out through systems and institutions which exclude destroy and annihilate those non-entities. This is done with a high degree of frequency and ferocious intensity. A promise or a threat is what keeps those non-entities bound to the fantasy of the ‘American Dream’. The response to those threats includes; depression, denial, anxiety, discomfort, and destructive avoidance behavior as part of the pathology.

Self- defense is necessary to withstand negative programming and conditioning. The efforts to establish a functional and operational methodology should be the primary tool for survival and liberation. To best understand the assumptions on which Black people operate is to look at the theory in use. The primary impetus for behavior is directly related to the belief systems or theory in use. For the majority of Black people the theory in use is not liberation. Many Black people operate under the theory of aspirations, as opposed to liberation. The aspirations are mostly personal, just to be part of Americana. The theory in use must be liberation. Liberation requires us to identify war as a distinct feature to describe the relationship of Blacks to Whites in this country.

From behind the thin mask treacherous people who pretend to be righteous pursue, personal interests and oppress, exploit and injure others this above all is the beginning of Cassius Belli {war}. It is a great misunderstanding to think that the art of war is just for killing people it is to kill evil. The relevance and necessity of emotional and spiritual attitude must be the vanguard for implementing war. Mental preparation is the key to the art of war. The implementation of Zero Grade Reliance must of necessity be the aggressiveness in mental preparation of competing interests. The precipitous action to attack or to wait may determine the outcome of a single event. Should we design instruments of war to protect Black people? Should we develop tactics and strategies to assist our people in assessing their plight?

People naturally do unnatural things. They live in situations that they did not create, and is often force to be unnatural. One takes on the nature, habits and power of thoughts of those with whom they associate in spirit of sympathy and harmony. So accustomed are Black people, to submission that anger or rage no longer becomes a natural human response. We do not know how to get Mad. However, it is prevalent within the black community to become Mad with each other. We show understanding and compassion to white people.

The theological response of forgiveness has suggested that Zero Grade Reliance is in greater need than earlier believed as a transforming modality. Must we endure and accept inhuman exploitation and oppression with impotent responses? Even Jesus would find it difficult in forgiving certain patterns of behavior. He said, ‘forgive them for they know not what they do’. There are those who know what they do! Synthetic non- spiritual concepts weaken attitudes of self- worth and sustain the attitude of self-hate. Self-hatred, low acquisition of information and the inadequate ability for analysis, magnify the need to embrace Zero Grade Reliance. ZGR is a tool useful to short-circuit the entrapment of domestication, assimilation and ultimately pacification.

It is my goal to inspire Black people; to assist them in facing their issues in the community, to provide a tool to foster the personal situations; to enable the Black community to face its problems. Everything that happens to us does not have to do with race. However, race must always be factor into any analysis of our situation, even if that factor is ultimately discarded. Nothing in this writing is an attempt to convince the unconvinced, but only to set forth the results of my research, analysis, and thoughts.

“To those who labor quietly and anonymously, but intensity and with true low, to recapture the minds, hearts, and souls of our children and our people, that we may together build a better world for ourselves, vindicate our ancestors, and rescue humanity.” Kwame Agyei Akoto

If We Must Die

If, we must die, let it not be like hogs,

Hunted and penned in an inglorious spot,

While round us barks the mad and hungry dogs,

Making their mock at our accused lot

If, we must die, O let us nobly die,

So that our precious blood may not be shed

In vain; then even monsters we defy

Shall be, constrained to honor us though dead.

O Kinsmen! We must meet the common foe!

Though out- numbered let us show us brave,

And for their thousand blows deal one death-blow!

What though before us lies the open grave?

Like men we’ll face murderous cowardly pack,

Press to the wall, dying, but fighting back!                                   Claude McKay
